The Council for the Aged Kempton Park has a vacancy for a Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric
• Approximately 5 years’ experience within a housing environment
• Exposure and experience with all facets of maintenance of buildings, premises, vehicles, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office and stock management systems, preferably ACOS/ACIM
• Experience and relevant knowledge in evacuation procedures, HSE, security and maintenance environments, Housing Acts and Labour Acts to develop and deliver quality applications and documentation.
• Verbal Communication – good interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly.  Empathy with the older person is a must!
• Written Communication – the ability to write clear and concise documents, reports, compile spreadsheets, etc.
• Ability to manage people and liaise with maintenance contractors.
• Procurement and budgeting experience.
